There's a new litter in town! A month ago these puppies fit in the palm of a hand.

 

Eyes sealed shut, pink noses, and paws like little rose petals. I've been documenting Northeast Canine for a while now, they breed, train, and donate Great Dane service dogs, and this litter is something else. Seven puppies. Seven futures that will eventually change someone's life completely.

 

Meet The Wild Ones. Moose, Grizzly Bear, Raven, Juniper, Bunny, Wolf, Maple and sweet Fern, who we had to say goodbye to far too soon.  Though her time here was short, she was deeply loved from the very beginning and will always be part of the Wild One's story.

 

And as Northeast Canine put it, they definitely lived up to their name. "From puppies being born in the car to loud little personalities right from day one, this litter has kept us on our toes from the very beginning."

A month later and they are unrecognizable. Chunky and stumbling through the grass, eating kibble, absolutely certain they run the place. Juniper in particular looks like she's already made several important decisions.

 

Watching seven lives change this much in thirty days is one of the most extraordinary things I've seen.
