Patio furniture can be pricey!  If yours is still in good shape, there’s zero reason to replace it, even if you want a new look.

 

Because swapping in new softgoods is the fastest way to give your outdoor space a whole new look without the big investment. 

 

I love a bold pattern on the rug to hide the outdoor wear and tear, with bright or heavily textured pillows to give your solid seat cushions some punch.  Then I finish it off with an affordable, washable throw blanket to block out the sun or chill. 

 

Here's three combos I'm loving right now:

Bright color on color, with a really fun modern rug that has both darker tones and softer colors, too. This would look great with white, grey or black cushions.  

Crisp neutrals with traditional patterns and some super kicky trim details, with a rug that’ll hide EVERYTHING.  This would look great with black, white or tan cushions. 

I'm obsessed with this rug.  The COLOR!??!  Gorge.  So I took the palette and patterns from that, and complimented it with soft textures.  This would look incredible on white, black or tan cushions.
