Titan Nation,

 

The past two weeks, our school has shared a series of announcements that are worth celebrating.

 

To start, the Florida Department of Education released the 2026 school grades, and we are proud to share that all of our schools are, once again, among the very best in Florida!

 

Hector Gutierrez, one of our Titan alumni, is achieving greatness both inside and outside the classroom at the University of Alabama.

 

All Uniform Wear will be stationed at our Dadeland Campus from July 28–31 to help families prepare for the upcoming school year.

 

As if that weren't enough, Camp TNT had the honor of hosting NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille "Shaq" O'Neal! His visit was not only inspiring for our campers, but also created memories they will cherish for the rest of their lives.

2026 School Grades

 

The Florida Department of Education just released the results of the Spring 2026 F.A.S.T. and EOC assessments, and we are proud to share that all of our schools once again are among the very best schools in Florida. Compared with 3,500 public and charter schools statewide, our schools ranked in the top 1% across most grades and subjects.

 

What makes these results remarkable is not any single achievement, it is their breadth. Our scholars are not strong in a single subject or grade; they are consistently excellent across Reading, Mathematics, Science, Writing, and History, from 3rd grade through 12th grade. In 23 individual assessments, True North campuses ranked in the top 25 schools in all of Florida.

 

At True North, test results are not the goal. Our goal is to cultivate hearts and minds towards excellence.  Excellence in thought, character, and deed. These scores are the natural byproduct of our mission: to cultivate well-formed human beings

CAMPT TNT hosts Shaquille O'Neal 

Camp TNT hosted NBA Hall of Famer and 4x NBA Champion, NBA MVP, 3x Finals MVP, 15x NBA All-Star, and Rookie of the Year Recipient, Shaquille O'Neal.

 

During his visit to True North, Shaq encouraged our scholars to always listen to their parents, participated in a Q&A session with our students and faculty members, and held a free-throw competition with two of our students. His visit helped make this summer unforgettable to our campers.

All Uniform will be stationed at our Dadeland Campus from July 28 to July 31. By taking advantage of this opportunity, you are not only preparing yourself for the next school year early, but you are also avoiding the lines, the drives, and the last minute rush. It's a convenient way to get everything you need before the school year begins, making back-to-school preparations easier

Alumni highlight: Hector Gutierrez

Hector Gutierrez, Class of 2025, turned an accidental mass email into a clever business opportunity that helped expand his pet-sitting business, Hec's Pet Sitting.

 

Earlier this year, Hector attempted to email one of his professors for a letter of recommendation. He accidentally sent the email to the entire University of Alabama student roster, making him an overnight internet sensation. In what appeared to be a matter of minutes, Hector was receiving recommendations from his fellow students – some whom he had never even met. This mistake led to multiple people discovering his business. As a result, people began reaching out to him, booking pet-sitting services, and requesting more information about his business, making his mistake one of the best marketing opportunities he could have ever had.

 

Hector started his pet sitting business as a True North student. The small business he launched while still in high school has since grown exponentially. Today, Hec's Pet Sitting is a registered LLC with 10 part-time employees and generates more than $10,000 a year.
