Meet Michelle
For more than 18 years, running was my prayer time.
When chronic hip pain forced me to stop, I discovered yoga. It was the only movement that didn't inflame my body.
Although I always brought Jesus into my own yoga practice, discovering Christ-centered yoga transformed my prayer life and deepened my relationship with Him and I became a yoga instructor nearly 20 years ago. I completed an extensive 500-hour Christ-centered yoga teacher training that explored yoga through the lens of Christian faith and Scripture. I later added additional training through Holy Yoga and have continued studying movement, prayer, and healing ever since.
Today I teach yoga through that same lens.
My hope is simple:
To help women grow stronger in body...
quieter in mind...
and closer to Christ.
❤️ Michelle

Why Christian Yoga?
Every yoga instructor teaches from their own worldview.
At Grace & Gratitude, our movement is paired with Scripture, prayer, gratitude, silence, and breath directed toward the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
You'll never be pressured to participate in prayer.
You're always welcome.
But I'll never hide the source of the peace that changed my life.
That source is Jesus Christ.
My goal is not simply to teach yoga.
My hope is to create a peaceful place where you can strengthen your body, quiet your mind, and deepen your relationship with Christ.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be flexible?
Not at all.
Yoga helps you become more flexible.

What if I've never done yoga?
Perfect.
You are absolutely welcome here! My regular classes are beginner friendly, and I spend time explaining alignment, offering modifications, and helping you learn as you go. If you're looking to feel confident in any class and truly grow your practice, I would encourage joining the Foundations Course for more time to learn the basics, ask questions, and build confidence.

Do I need equipment?
A yoga mat is recommended. Blocks and a blanket are helpful but not required. Graceful Rest classes use more props for support and comfort. (For in-person classes, everything will be provided.)

What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move in.
Bare feet are recommended.

What's Coming Next
I'm currently planning both a Six-Week Foundations Course and a Four-Week Healing Yoga Series, and I'd love your input.

Your waitlist responses will help me decide when to offer each series, which days and times work best, and whether to offer additional online or in-person options.

So if one — or both! — speaks to you, please let me know. There is absolutely no commitment to register. Your feedback simply helps me create what will best serve this community. 💗

Both include:

✔ Small, intimate classes
✔ Meet twice each week
✔ 90-minute classes
✔ Taught in my home (online options coming)

Six-Week Foundations
Ready to confidently walk into ANY yoga class?

The Foundations Course is designed to help you move safely, confidently, and peacefully while exploring yoga as more than a physical practice.

Whether you’re stepping onto a mat for the first time or you’ve practiced for years, there is always room to deepen. Together, we’ll move through the foundations of alignment and breath, learn to connect movement with breath and intention, explore rest and prayer, and ultimately bring it all together in a fuller, more meaningful practice.
🌱 Rooted
Build confidence through foundations, alignment & breath.

🌿 Bloom
Connect movement with breath in a gentle flow.

🌙 Rest
Slow down with restorative yoga, prayer & deep relaxation.

✨ Rise
Bring everything together – movement, breath, intention & prayer.

Healing Yoga Series
A space to breathe, surrender, pray, and heal.

The Healing Yoga Series is a four-week, Christ-centered experience for women seeking healing — physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Whether you’re walking through pain, stress, loss, illness, change, or simply carrying the weight of everyday life, this is a space to bring it before Christ.

Built around the peaceful, prayer-centered style of Graceful Rest, each class will weave together gentle yoga, intentional breath, Scripture, guided reflection, stillness, gratitude, and prayer. We’ll create space to quiet the noise, listen to your body, bring what you’re carrying before Christ, and simply receive.

Each gathering will also include optional time to pray with and for one another.

Whether yoga is familiar to you or completely new, come as you are. There is a place for you here.

I'd Love to Practice With You
Whether you're ready to join a class now or simply add your name to the waitlist for what's coming next, I'm honored you're here.
Where ever you are, you're welcome to join me.
I'd love to practice and pray with you.
Blessings & Smiles,
Michelle Kellogg
