👋🏼 Hey, it’s Miriam. Welcome to my bi-weekly newsletter where we help you grow your pipeline, keep your clients, and crush your goals. Let’s get started. |
If You Do One Thing This Week: |
1. Plant the seeds for next year's growth Some of your best opportunities next year are being quietly shaped right now. This week, identify 5-10 key contacts or organizations that regularly connect you with future clients. Reach out and start a conversation. Learn about their goals, current challenges, and what they see coming in the months ahead. The slower pace of summer offers a valuable window to nurture relationships, strengthen referral partnerships, and thoughtfully plan how you’ll stay top-of-mind. Growth doesn't happen by accident. The strongest pipelines are built through trust, consistency, and relationships that are nurtured over time. |
2. Keep showing up for the clients you already have. Many businesses pour so much energy into finding new clients that they unintentionally overlook the people who already know and value their work. This week, take time to reconnect with your current clients. It can look as simple as a text or email saying: I just saw this article and thought of our project. Congrats on your success this year. Enjoy your summer - well deserved! Client retention comes down to staying present and continuing to provide value. Before investing heavily in attracting new business, make sure you’re tending to the relationships already in your backyard. |
3. Set growth goals with clarity, not wishful thinking Big goals can be energizing, but goals built on shaky assumptions are… well, shaky. This week, look back at your client growth over the past three years and pay attention to the patterns that keep showing up. What trends can you trust? Where has growth come naturally, and where has it stalled? Now, set goals that stretch your team and are realistic at the same time. Then, communicate those expectations clearly with your leadership team. Slow. Steady. Win the race. Try it. Let me know how it goes. |
