Do you remember when I used to do Day in the Life on Instagram? Once a week (usually on Wednesdays) I would share an hour by hour glimpse of life on our little Michigan farm, often with sneak peeks of new Every Woman a Theologian products.

 

When I left social media in February, I knew I was obeying what God asked me to do. But I missed interacting with you and offering the fun, casual glimpses of “life with God” that day in the life provided. It's been an experiment finding ways to share (in a healthy, boundaried manner) without social media, but I landed on a monthly post on Substack.

 

Today marks the sixth month of doing DITL this way, and many of you have told me you actually prefer it to the old model. Rather than scrolling or swiping with little context, you can hear more of my process for how we go about our home rhythms, family priorities, homeschool, and spiritual goals. 

 

Last month you joined me for a sick day. This month you join me for a sweet summer day of farmer's market and afternoon hosting! I love that over the past six months you've gotten to see the wide range of things life throws our way, and through it all – Jesus sustains us.

Last year we took Verity Conference virtual. This year, we’re back—gathering in person for the newly renamed Every Woman a Theologian Conference 2026. While the name is changing, the heart behind the conference remains the same: deep teaching, meaningful worship, and Christ-centered community.
