Hello Bear & Otter Family,

 

Our story with Kizer actually started at Blade Show last year.

We were on a mission: find some fixed blades under $100 that we'd actually want to carry ourselves.

 

Most folks know Kizer for their folders, but after handling a pile of knives at the show, we found a handful of fixed blades that impressed us enough to bring them home to Bear & Otter.

 

A year later, they're still some of our favorite recommendations.

🔪 Kizer Buddy

Out of all those fixed blades, the Buddy quickly became my favorite.

It's practical, comfortable in hand, and has just enough personality to keep things interesting. The blade shape works hard, the handle feels great, and it hits that sweet spot between everyday utility and outdoor adventure.

Now the Buddy has a folding counterpart, the Buddy II, featuring Kizer's Clutch Lock.

 

If you've handled a Knafs Lander 2 or Lander 3, you've already experienced how smooth and easy that lock can be. Pair that action with the Buddy's friendly design and you've got a knife that's just plain fun to carry.

Next week we're getting another RoseCraft release. (Noon, June 30th!)

It'll be arriving in the ever-popular Dapper Jigged Bone, and it'll be my first chance to see RoseCraft's Dragon Scale Jigging in person.

 

Let's just say Otter and I are both curious.
