Details below on the pool address, what to bring, and what to know for 2026!

Please read as there is lots of new information

for the 2026 season!

Winnetka POOL

7014 Jumilla Ave,

Winnetka, CA 91306

The pool is conveniently located in a quiet pocket of Winnetka between

Winnetka Ave. and Corbin Ave. off Hart St.

Please enter the backyard through the gate to the right of the house.

Push the wooden gate firmly and it will open.

Street parking is available on all days. However, please be courteous to our neighbors and be sure to leave plenty of space near their driveways so they are not blocked in. Please remember,

DO NOT BLOCK OR PARK IN

ANY DRIVEWAYS.

The pool water is always

heated to at least 90 degrees

Fahrenheit and there are several large shades over the shallow end of the pool.

There are also 2 changing cabanas

and a solar-heated outdoor shower.

Bathroom access is available.

For families watching lessons, you have full access to view the pool and several

shaded comfortable places to sit

hanging on the pool fence).

ON YOUR FIRST DAY

please arrive

5-10 minutes early

so that you and your child have time to familiarize yourselves with parking, entrance to the pool, waiting and changing areas, and acclimation to new surroundings.

For all future lessons

please enter the backyard about

5 minutes before

your scheduled class time and

leave promptly after your class has ended.

Your peaceful presence and punctual arrival and departure times ensure that your student and other participants receive as much of a distraction-free

lesson experience as possible.

late arrival Procedure

If you are running

more than 10 minutes late,

or will be missing the class entirely,

we would greatly appreciate a call or text

so we can alert the instructor.

Lessons typically start and end on time. If you are likely to be late, please know that you may miss a portion of your lesson.

Packing for the Pool

Please bring a towel and swimsuit for your child(ren). Ideally, students should come dressed in their bathing suit,

with sunscreen or rash guard already on

and ready to swim.

That's all you really need,

we provide all the toys, goggles, and other equipment necessary!

Apply minimal sunscreen &

use the bathroom at your house BEFORE coming to the pool.

Minimal sun protection is suggested since the shallow end is thoroughly shaded and therefore excessive sunscreen and/or protective clothing may not be necessary.

WHO'S MY TEACHER?

Before lessons begin, you will be contacted with your primary teacher's name,

picture, and a short bio about them.

GOT GOGGLES?

We have goggles available for students to borrow, or you can purchase our recommended Kids H2 Finis goggles from us at the pool for as low as $15.00.

TO EAT OR NOT TO EAT?

Please eat lunch or snacks at home at least

1 hour before lessons. Please note there is a

$300.00 pool cleaning fee if vomit or fecal matter escapes into the water as well up to a $500.00 fee for lost revenue.

diaper POLICY

If your child has been

potty trained for 6 months or less

they are required to wear

a REUSABLE

tight-fitting leak-proof swim diaper.

These types of diapers are the most effective method of maintaining a

healthy pool water environment.

DISPOSABLE swim diapers

are not accepted.

Each Session, lessons are held for

3 consecutive weeks

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

Tuesdays and Thursday

(depending on which

day schedule you have chosen).

Each class lasts approximately 20 minutes. Typically, we begin lessons on time.

Please do your best to arrive on time.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds for missed lessons.

This includes late arrivals.

If you need to cancel a lesson due to illness

or other scheduling conflicts,

please contact us as soon as possible.

Cancellation Policy

Lessons will occur if it is raining

(unless there is thunder and/or lightning).

On the rare occasion that we need to cancel lessons for any reason, you will be contacted and offered a refund. You will be notified by phone, text, or email if there are any changes to your lesson schedule.

make-up Policy 2026

Welcome to our NEW make-up policy!

The new policy is as follows:

Make-up lessons during your same day and time are not guaranteed, however

you may qualify for 1 make-up lesson

per student per, 3-week session

(for any reason, i.e. sickness, travel, conflicting schedules, etc.)

provided that you contact us:

• With at least 24 hours notice – If you mark your own absence in the Parent Portal at least 24 hours before your lesson, you are guaranteed a spot on one of our pre-selected Sunday morning make-up days. You may also look for a weekday opening on the schedule through the Parent Portal as well.

You will need to book the Sunday morning lesson in the Parent Portal, found under “EVENTS”, after you have marked your absence.

• Without 24 hours notice – If you

mark your own absence in the Parent Portal less than 24 hours before your lesson, and once your make-up is approved, you can look for a weekday opening on the schedule and book it through the Parent Portal.

• No notice – Your lesson is forfeited, and there are no make-ups possible.

Sick Policy 2026

Please bring healthy students only!

Schedule a make-up for students

who don't feel 100%!

However, if one of your children is sick

and unable to attend their lesson,

you may prefer to have their healthy sibling use the lesson time instead

(rather than scheduling a make-up lesson).

If so, we may be able to offer a 30-minute lesson plus an additional 10 minutes of less structured pool time.

To arrange this, please email us before 8:00 am on the day of your lesson so we can approve your request and notify the teacher of the schedule change.

Please remember that

your spot is not secured for future classes until you have enrolled and paid online for that 3-week session.

If you are interested in a spot later in the season, please email us as soon as possible so we can send you a registration invitation.
