Housing assignments drop Monday, July 6. 

It's almost time! For first-year and exchange students, your 2026-27 housing assignment will be sent to your URochester email address on Monday, July 6. (Incoming transfer students will be emailed beginning in mid-July.)

 

This email will also include instructions on signing up for your move-in time slot on one of the Fall 2026 arrival days (either Monday, August 24 or Tuesday, August 25). Move-in time slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so make sure to follow the directions and secure your spot as soon as you receive the email.

Being the first (or one of the first) in your family to attend college is a special opportunity for both you and your family members. Join us virtually on Wednesday, July 8 at 4 p.m. (EDT) for our First-Generation Student and Family Welcome webinar, where you'll hear from University leaders and have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with fellow first-generation students and families.

Add these dates to your calendar.

❏ Finalize your travel to Rochester and your guests' accommodations

 

❏ Submit your AP and IB exam scores (if applicable)
