Happy Summer from all of us here in the studio! We've got SO much news, including a sneak peek at two BRAND NEW projects that we've been waiting so long to share, and you get to see it first!  Keep reading for all the June design goodies we've put together just for you. 

This custom estate home in Durham began as a the dream of a couple celebrating their retirement, who wanted space not only for themselves but plenty of room for their children their sweet grandbabies to visit comfortably.  Soaring ceilings, natural light, and an intuitive layout, this intelligently designed home includes comfortable and spacious accommodations for multiple families, along with a bounty of special features (wine room! Game room! Scullery!). One of our favorite things about this home is the incredible indoor-outdoor spaces, including a kitchen that opens fully to a four-season, all-weather patio for entertaining.  Deeply customized down to the last detail, it was a beautiful reflection of the heart and soul of this family. News From the Studio!

We are thrilled to welcome Junior Designer Hannah Sain to our CFD family!  It has been a bittersweet moment in the studio as Rebecca recently needed to relocate to Charlotte to be closer to her family. We will miss her greatly, as we know you will too!  We are happy to welcome Hannah as a timely and talented addition to our design team. She is already a warm and bright presence in the studio,  passionate about creating beautiful homes, and is looking forward to getting to know you.
