This month, we're beginning a journey into ancestral healing.

 

Ancestral healing doesn't begin by trying to fix the past - it begins by building a relationship to our sacred lineage.

 

Every family line carries stories of resilience, wisdom, sacrifice, creativity, love, migration, survival, and transformation.

 

Alongside these stories are gifts and experiences that still echo through generations and into your life today.

 

During this journey, we'll approach our ancestors with a spiritual, emotional curiosity rather than judgment.

 

We'll begin by inviting one ancestor into our awareness - not because they are the single most important person in our lineage, but because they are the one who is ready to work with us now.

 

Sometimes this is someone we know well. Sometimes it is someone whose name we've never heard. The invitation is simply to notice who steps forward.

 

Our first task is not to heal them - it is to know them.

 

A Sacred Relationship always comes before healing.

For this month’s card reading, we’ll be using the Gypsy Lore Fortune Telling Cards from the 1920s. It’s my favorite vintage card deck and while it does show some wear use, it is perfectly readable.

 

It’s direct, to the point, and I find the bluntness of the messages to be helpful, but also humorous. It is a deck that cuts straight to the chase and I use it typically when I just want a straight answer.

 

We’re going to do an Ancestral Past, Present and Future Influence Reading using these questions:

 

This card suggests there is a strong ancestral imprint around status, opportunity, and prosperity and vulnerability through trust.

 

There is an opening here toward wealth, recognition, and support from influential connections; it suggests a lineage that is aligned with advancement and being “seen” in positions of value or importance.

 

At the same time, the phrase “losses through misplaced confidences” introduces a cautionary ancestral storyline: success intertwined with over-trust or misplaced disclosure.

 

Advancement may have been possible in your ancestry, but this card suggests it may not have always been stable - meaning that sharing too much, trusting the wrong person, or relying on external validation created energetic or material loss.

 

There is a dual message here: a capacity for prosperity and the message of caution. 

 

The pattern is not avoidance of success, but embrace discernment while navigating visibility, influence, and opportunity.

 

 

 

This card moves into the emotional and relational field, highlighting healing a love theme that feels inconsistent, withheld, or difficult to interpret.

 

The phrase “someone whom the querent loves is inclined to be indifferent” suggests a pattern of emotional imbalance - where affection is not fully reciprocated or is experienced, but highly unpredictable.

 

The instruction “forgive, but do not trust again” is especially significant in ancestral terms.

 

This does not point to bitterness, but represents a clarity born from experience.

 

There is a lineage lesson around distinguishing emotional forgiveness from relational access. It suggests healing from cycles where relational compassion may have been extended beyond what was safe or reciprocal.

 

The line “you have long been loved by one you least suspect” adds a layer of support and unseen emotional truth.

 

This message indicates there is an unrecognized devotion, quiet loyalty, or love that exists without being fully perceived, either in this life or carried through ancestral memory.

 

Look to where relationship loyalties already lovingly support you, on this plane and in Spirit. This card implies you are moving out of a time where receiving the love you deserve is an inconsistent experience.

 

The message here is that to heal, it’s okay to emotionally forgive while not reopening a door to a relationship where love was withheld.

 

 

This is a strong outcome card!

 

It points to aligned success in professional or purposeful endeavors, where effort begins to meet visible reward. The “underlined 8” amplifies this energy and means it is happening sooner rather than later.

 

“Success in business or profession you are interested in” reflects an ancestral lineage shift from instability into practical manifestation and grounded achievement.

 

Where earlier patterns may have involved uncertainty in relationships or trust, this card shows your success energy is becoming more productive, focused, and externally supported.

 

The phrase “secret loyalty – someone unknown is working for your benefit” introduces a deeply spiritual layer: support that is not fully visible yet is still active in your favor.

 

This can be interpreted as ancestral support, unseen guidance, or aligned energetic backing moving in your direction without needing to control it or over-effort.

 

Their card indicates a spiritual, ancestrally supported shift towards success, forward movement, and unseen assistance guiding outcomes toward stability and reward.

 

Your lineage is shifting from success mixed with misplaced trust and emotional uncertainty into a more grounded path of discernment, emotional clarity, and protected prosperity, where love is better understood and access is more consciously chosen.

 

As you heal your ancestral patterns, you step into a phase of supported success and forward movement that is both materially rewarded and quietly backed by unseen (ancestral or spiritual) assistance.

July 22 – Sun Enters Leo: As the Sun enters Leo, your soul is called to shine without apology. Let your light be an expression of love, joy, and divine purpose, knowing that your authentic presence is a gift to the world.

 

July 23 – Mercury Direct: With Mercury moving direct, the path ahead begins to feel clearer as the pieces you've been gathering fall into place.

 

Even projects have been stalled or you needed to pause and revisit something from the past, you’re now done circling back - feel free to move forward on any partnerships, contracts and communications that were previously slowed.

 

July 26 – Saturn Retrograde: Saturn retrograde invites you to reflect on the recent soul lessons that have been shaping your path. By honoring your boundaries, commitments, and inner truth, you will build a disciplined, responsible foundation that supports lasting growth.

 

July 29 – Full Moon in Aquarius: The Aquarius Full Moon encourages you to release old patterns that no longer reflect who you're becoming.
