If you're training for a a long distance triathlon or  Ironman this fall (Florida, Haines City, or North Carolina)  you already know the swim leg can make or break your race. Pool laps only get you so far. Sighting in open water, handling chop, swimming straight without a lane line to guide you; those are skills you can only build in open water itself.
 
That's exactly what our Women's Open Water Swim Camp this fall is designed for.
 
WHAT IS SWIM CAMP, EXACTLY?
 
It's a few days away with a small group of women, guided by expert coaches, dedicated entirely to open water swim training. Think race-specific skills and drills, long swims to build endurance, and coaching to refine your stroke and sighting — all in conditions that actually mirror what you'll face on race day. It's part training camp, part retreat: we swim hard, eat well, make new friends and leave feeling ready. 
 
This camp is built for swimmers who can comfortably swim 1500–2000m continuously — if you're deep in Ironman training, that's likely already you. Here's what's in store:
 
THE DETAILS:
 
Camp dates: Oct 1–4 - technically all the swimming starts Friday morning, but for out of towners  arriving Thursday, we've arranged an informal meet and greet to kick off the weekend!
 
Location: Clearwater Beach, FL

SNEAK PEEK AT THE SCHEDULE:
 
Thursday: Meet and Greet Social — connect with other women training for their own fall races
Friday: A guided swim in the Gulf, race-focused skills & drills with coaches, a catered lunch, and an afternoon long distance open water swim at Sand Key — plus time to relax and recover
Saturday: Freshwater Field Trip! (transportation provided) — swim a long distance in Florida freshwater for a completely different open water feel, followed by a group dinner that evening
Sunday: Sunrise Swim & Yoga — an easy swim and recovery session to close out the weekend
