This beautiful quilt was pieced by Rachael and quilted by Jo with the Baptist fan quilting pattern. Rachael made it for a dear, sweet friend in Arkansas who is an artist—and who is celebrating becoming a brand-new grandma!
This labor of love was created from a combination of free patterns. It began as a carpenter star, and Rachael added pieced blocks into the negative white space for extra interest and to include some fun blocks she had already made. She calls the quilt “Carpenter Sampler.” We love the creativity behind it—and we really wish there were a “real” pattern so we could make one, too!
