Since becoming a DeSales resident in 2021, one of our community members has worked hard to build a brighter future for herself and her family. After graduating from the final round of Here to Stay, our in-house eviction prevention program, in 2025, she continued her journey with support from our Community Service Coordination team.
Recently, she was connected with the St. Joseph Housing Initiative and is set to begin the Homeownership Academy this summer—an exciting milestone on her path toward owning a home. Along the way, her family continues to thrive, with her oldest daughter preparing to graduate high school and begin college in the fall of 2026.
