Our summer Independent Coventry campaign is in full swing, shining a spotlight on the vital role independent businesses play in creating jobs, investing locally and making the city centre unique.

 

Running for the third year, the campaign celebrates independent BID businesses across the city centre through digital promotion, encouraging residents and visitors to shop, eat, drink and spend locally.

pspo consultation reminder

Just a reminder that Coventry City Council is asking for people’s views on whether a City Centre Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) should continue for another three years, until November 2029.

The order could be updated to simplify rules, so that they are easier to enforce and focus more on behaviour that is aggressive, intimidating or causes nuisance, rather than simply someone being present in the city centre.

The consultation is running until Sunday 26 July 2026.

The summer holidays may just be beginning, but our Back to School Campaign officially kicks off next week.

 

We'll be sharing Back to School content, encouraging shoppers to pick up everything they need for September in Coventry city centre, and need your support!
