Happy July! I have a few bits of exciting news for you today!
 
First off, I'm deep in the deadline trenches with Friendship, RI Book 4! I don't have a release day or preorder yet but I can give you this peek:

Next up: I'll be joining 2 (!!) local-to-me bookstores for Bookstore Romance Day, an annual community-driven event to celebration romance fiction as well as its readers and writers.
 
Here's where you can find me on Saturday, August 15 for Bookstore Romance Day:
✨ Barrington Books in Barrington, RI, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
✨ The Purple Couch Bookshop in N. Andover, MA, 5 - 6:30 p.m. I'll join a panel discussion with Jules Cohen, Jenny Howe, Victoria Lavine, and Kristyn Miller before signing books.
 
Finally, there's a new release in one of my favorite small town romance series this week and we need to talk about it. I love Kat Ryan's Highland Falls series so much. It's a warm hug kind of series. The entire town is a found family in the very best ways. The characters are refreshing and true, and they feel like people you'd actually want to know. The newest release, Staying with You, brings together a chronic people pleaser and a starved-for-affection firefighter who happen to be exactly what they need at the exact right moment. You can dive in and read this one on its own or start at the beginning. Either way, you're going to have a great time.
 
Oh, one last thing: did you know I have a spicy age gap novella featuring two sworn enemy surgeons? Because I do and it's my gift to you.

Some quick recommendations for you:
 
Big Stick Energy by Sarina Bowen – I love Sarina's books and I've especially loved her New York Legends series. This fake dating story should be on the top of your summer TBR. Read it in KU!
 
Happy Medium by Sarah Adler – I really loved this book. I devoured Gretchen and Charlie's story, and I'm still thinking about the ways they pulled and pushed at each other. 
 
Vera Stein Is Fine by Julie Murphy – this was charming and hilarious. Julie's writing is refreshingly witty. It was nothing short of crack! I laughed so much, I cried, and I couldn't put it down once I started it.
 
Headfirst by Amelia Markley – a new release with a classic single dad/down on her luck nanny setup!
