Summer Update #2: Facilities and Faqs

Dear First name / TRS Families,

While students and families are off enjoying their break, our campus has been buzzing with improvements – both big and small – to make The Rock School even better for the year ahead.

At the bottom of this email, you'll find Summer Announcements and a few other important things, so make sure to read all the way to the end!

But now, here's a quick look at what’s happening behind the scenes:
Campus Improvements
Our Physical Plant team has been hard at work this year, and campus is looking better than ever.

You'll notice fresh paint throughout the buildings, along with new lighting in the lunchroom and student spaces all around campus. Small changes, but they make a big difference in how the space feels day to day.

We're also building a new outdoor Gym Patio, designed with connection and collaboration in mind. It's a great spot for students to gather, play, and build relationships outside the classroom.

For our preschool families, drop-off is getting a much-needed upgrade. We're adding pavers to the parking spaces, so no more trudging through mud with your little ones on rainy mornings.

Looking to get our students outside more, we added a Disc Golf course to campus. It's already becoming a favorite way for kids to be active and enjoy the outdoors during the day.

We're also adding a brand new classroom. We won't say where just yet. Keep an eye out for a photo hint soon, and see if you can guess!

Finally, we're treating the gravel in the back parking lot with a compound that holds it in place. That means less dust kicked up during car line, for a cleaner pickup and drop-off experience.

We're grateful for a team that cares this much about the spaces our students learn and grow in every day, and we can't wait for you to see it all in person.

How to read your Tuition Statement
Plan Summary:
The Plan Amount will always be the full rate of tuition for the year.

Payment Schedule & Scholarship Application:
Shows the amount and dates of billing for the year, based on the payment plan you selected.

For students receiving a scholarship from Step Up for Students or AAA, your scholarship amount will be listed as a June due date.

As parents approve quarterly invoices from Step Up throughout the year, those funds are applied toward that June amount, so that by the end of the school year this amount will reduce to $0.

The remaining tuition balance is then divided between the amount of payments you selected during the enrollment set up. You can see your monthly amount owed (or semester, or pay-in-full depending on plan chosen) by looking at these listed dates and amounts.

Any families receiving additional tuition assistance will see that amount applied across the payment dates as well.

Balance Details:
Another place to view the difference between funds coming from Step Up for Students and funds to be paid by the family.

Go to therock.school/familyportal to view and manage your information online. (Use District Code TRS-FL at login.) Select the Financial tab for details on your account.

If you need further assistance, please reach out to administration@therock.school.
