Some Harmonies Are Worth the Wait

Hey friend!

🎄It’s here, it’s here—the merriest and busiest time of the year!

As Bing Crosby croons White Christmas and last year’s fruitcake from Aunt Gertrude stares accusingly from the back of the pantry, it’s hard not to wonder how the year went so fast.

2025 has been a complete whirlwind of writing for me. Honestly, I’ve written more this year than at any other point in my life.

Which brings me to a small but heartfelt update.

Imperfect Harmony (my Phantom retelling) won’t be ready by Christmas.

Here’s why: Valentin and Amelie have stolen my heart.

What began as a free novella just for my Nightbloom members has grown into a full-length novel. I tried to keep it small.

I failed. Spectacularly.

I just couldn’t cut their beautiful story short. They deserved to have every bit of love I could possibly give them.

So I’m moving the release to Valentine’s Day. And ya’ll, it’s going to be so good. I’ve poured more of my heart and soul into this story than anything I’ve written before.

Their love story touches me on so many levels, and ya’ll deserve the very best I can give you.

And yes—of course—it will still be free for Nightbloom Society members.

Here’s a tidbit of what’s coming:

In other news, I’ve been corresponding with the cover designer for The Locke Mystique, and she’ll begin work on January 15th. I’m ridiculously excited! The cover will be completely custom and I've also commissioned an original piece of art featuring Arisa and Drystan.

And coming next month (fingers crossed!) will be the cover reveal for Imperfect Harmony.

There is so much to share in the months ahead.
