We're beyond excited to share something we've never done before, and something that's never been done in the Triangle, period.
This year, Raleigh Custom Homes is partnering with Dwell Proper and The Best of Raleigh to bring a totally curated, custom furnishings solution to all three of our ultra-luxury Parade of Homes entries:
The Vanderbilt — 1208 Barcroft, North Ridge
The Rockefeller — 7117 North Ridge, North Ridge
The Carnegie — 3074 Granville, Country Club Hills
We've teamed up with Alex Jordyn, owner of Dwell Proper, alongside three of the finest furniture companies in the industry: Universal Furniture, Theodore Alexander, and Fairfield Chair, to create custom furnishings designed specifically for each home, room by room.
Our design team at Raleigh Custom Homes has worked hand in hand with Alex and the designers at each furniture house to curate every piece with the proper scale, sizing, and selection, because true luxury isn't just about how a room looks. It's about how it lives.
Our goal? Day One Living.
We're spending hundreds of hours developing the lifestyle and livability of each home so our buyers don't have to. Every piece is selected in concert with each home's inspiration, finishes, and design story, so when you walk through the front door, it's not a blank canvas. It's already home. Move in, and start living.
Here's how it works: each home is priced separately from its furnishings. If you purchase the home, you can choose to purchase the entire curated furniture collection right along with it, exactly as you saw it. And if you come through on Parade weekend and fall in love with one piece, or one whole room, you can purchase that too, whether or not you're buying the house.
You'll be hearing that phrase, Day One Living, all summer, because it's what we're calling the whole campaign. It kicks off today, July 15th, 2026, produced in partnership with Gretchen Coley and Best of Raleigh, our media partner for this entire journey.
Follow along as we take you behind the scenes, from the furniture factories to final installation of every last piece, all the way through Parade judging on Friday, October 2nd.
