The Menopause & Wellness Center at Summit Health’s New Providence office is a newly opened clinical program focused on midlife women’s health.

The Center was co-developed by a team of passionate providers, including advanced practice nurse Susan Angelicola, APN, WHNP, MSCP. Together, this growing team offers compassionate, evidence-based care for every stage of the menopause journey — from symptom management to health optimization and whole-person wellbeing.

When we began building the NEWH Directory, Susan’s name came up more than once as a trusted provider in (peri)menopause care. She’s also been an early supporter of the NEWH mission — and we’re proud to introduce the Center to our community.

Please note: Appointments with Susan are currently booking into 2026 — but the full team at the Menopause & Wellness Center is available to support you sooner.

Q: What do you wish more women understood about navigating perimenopause and menopause?
Are there common misconceptions or symptoms you’d like to bring more attention to?

A: For some women, symptoms and changes begin several years before menopause officially occurs. A common misconception is that management must wait until menopause. Not true, being proactive is best!

Q: Many women struggle to find the right care close to home.
What kind of impact do you want to have in our local area?

A: We offer this comprehensive care within Summit Health, an organization most are aware of and many already receive care within. We want women in our local area to know that The Center’s care is close by for you…and you don’t need to find it on telehealth or within an organization you do not know or trust.

Q: What’s one message you want every woman in midlife to hear right now?

A: Midlife is our time to thrive! Maintaining health and well being is the key to longevity and remaining relevant in society.
