Issue #12 | July 21, 2026 |

👋🏼 Hey, it’s Miriam. Welcome to my bi-weekly newsletter where we help you grow your pipeline, keep your clients, and crush your goals. Let’s get started. |
|
If You Do One Thing This Week: |
|
1. Give your space a little love Set aside 10 minutes this week and walk through your office as if you were visiting for the very first time. - Clear off the front desk.
- Tidy the waiting area.
- Straighten the shelves.
- Wipe away those fingerprints on the front door.
- Finally tackle that cluttered corner you've been meaning to get to.
Set a timer for 10 minutes and see what happens. It's July. There's no better time for a midyear refresh. |
|
2. Take a fresh look at your website For many potential clients, your website is their first introduction to your business. Think of it like opening your front door and welcoming someone inside. Let's do some digital housekeeping. Take 10 minutes this week to visit your homepage or your main service page. - Is it immediately clear what you do and who you help?
- Are your services, pricing, and FAQs up to date?
- Can visitors quickly find the information they're looking for?
- Is your contact information easy to find?
Bonus Points: Visit the websites for three other businesses in your industry. Notice what makes their websites easy to use, welcoming, or memorable. Borrow the ideas you love and make them your own. Try it. Let me know how it goes. |
|
3. Make every message a pleasure to read When sending written communications out, remember this: simple sticks. - Use fewer words
- Break up long paragraphs into shorter sections.
- Use bullet points to highlight dates, next steps, or key details.
- Give your readers' eyes a chance to breathe.
Before you hit send this week, read your message one more time and ask yourself, "Could someone understand this in 30 seconds?" Your clients are busy, and you want your communications to land and stick. Keep things focused and short. It's a gift to them and to you. (I just reread this newsletter and cut out a bunch of words to keep things tighter. I promise.) |

Worth a look How the Experts See It |
|
How do you earn the trust of people who don't trust easily? After more than 20 years at ESPN, Marty Smith shares the habits that helped him build lasting relationships with some of the biggest names in sports. In this conversation with David Novak, he explores the power of preparation, curiosity, listening well, and always telling the truth. |

- Work with me for 1:1 executive coaching or growth strategy consulting. Hit reply and I’ll send you a few questions to see if we’re a fit.
- Book me as a retreat facilitator or speaker. I'm looking at Summer and Fall retreats now. I just booked my third retreat for the Fall. This is the perfect time to reset. Reply to this email and we’ll take it from there.
I’m a teacher at heart, and love helping people get better at what they do. Let's get started, |
