This was originally called The Willing Entrepreneurs, and when I looked up the etymology and history of this term, I chose to change it to:
Following Our Callings:
Responding Lovingly and Willingly to the Invitations From Our Souls and Life (whilst also tending to our younger parts, their painful feelings, and their conditioning)
Before I share more about it, I'd love to share about more of my own journey:
ABOUT MY JOURNEY
I first heard the term "the journey of the Soul" when I started my Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy training, back in 1992.
On Friday mornings, we gathered together, and were invited to look back upon our lives ~ and contemplate the journey that our Soul had taken so far.
As a psychospiritual psychotherapy, Psychosynthesis taught me about the journey of the Soul through life.
This context has been a guiding map for me ever since.
I'm grateful that I've been on a parallel journey of what I used to call my 'personal' and 'professional' lives, and now what I see as the holographic nature of reality.
And with age and experience, I have now seen many different shapes and patterns that people experience in their relationship with their Soul's callings.
I shared about this a bit in my recent musings on The Marion Method, which is available HERE.
My first group offering in what I used to call "Psychospiritual Entrepreuership" in The Marion Method was called "Respond Lovingly to Your Calling". I first created it in 2017, and offered what I then called "live rounds" until 2022.
From 2017-2020, a lot of my focus went into this offering, and I really loved it!
Then, Life invited me to focus on Aware Parenting for several years, and to place The Marion Method on the backburner (hmm... I'm wondering if I enjoy that as a metaphor - things cooking still but simmering in the back - yes, I still have a yes for it for now!).
As years went by, and my own understanding and practice of The Marion Method deepened, I often thought that if I created a new offer of a similar kind, this time I would call it "Respond Lovingly and Willingly to Your Callings" (i.e. adding willingness, and an "s" to the end!)
And the time is here, yet I love the new title ~ "Following Our Callings" (It was called "The Willing Entrepreneurs" for a while!)
I absolutely adore following the Callings of my Soul and Life, and I love contributing the wonder of it to others.
In following our callins, (as with parenting), the contrast between our true Soul nature as Love and Will, and the Disconnected Domination culture's conceptualisations of human beings is HUGE!
And like with parenting, the effects are both from the past and in the present.
Past:
Many of us:
Weren't supported to do what we loved, or what we were interested in, or what we were called to do;
Were judged, compared to others, given marks for our work, and learnt to judge and compare what we did;
Were taught (by being coerced) to coerce ourselves to do things that we weren't interested in, or to do things that we were interested in, but at times when we had other needs or preferences.
This often means that in following our Callings, these feelings and thoughts from the past emerge.
If you question yourself and what you're doing, judge and compare yourself and what you do, or coerce yourself to take action when you aren't actually willing, these are all apt responses, given what you learnt growing up in the DDC.
This is part of our innate wisdom, to be safe, belong, and be loved, and is an invitation for compassion for the past and choice for the present.
When we meet our younger parts with deep compassion, and choose new ways of thinking that come from our Soul, not the DDC, we develop a personality which becomes more and more the vehicle for our Soul's callings to come into the world, whilst experiencing the truest sense of safety, belonging, and love.
This is exactly the process:
1 ~ The Calling comes (along with clarity, and spaciousness, and joy);
2 ~ The painful feelings and thoughts from the past emerge;
3 ~ We tend to those painful feelings and thoughts;
4 ~ With lovingness and willingness, we move forward, supported by Life, doing what we're here to do;
5 ~ The next steps in the Callings arrive.
We increasingly know when we're living and working from our Soul, our Love and Will, and when we're living and working from our younger parts, and we are increasingly able to tend to the younger parts, and live more from our Soul.
Over time, as we are responding from our Soul more and more, we increasingly also respond to Life, being willing to follow the Callings from Life.
As for the present,
The more we understand the difference between the DDC in the present (the clues are: judgment, instead of compassion; competition and comparison rather than respect and collaboration; and coercion rather than support to be willing), and the more we realise we are being supported by Life and other Souls, the more clearly we see our own Soul journey path, and our own unique map to keep following our Callings.
This way, we not only increasingly do what we're here to do, we also become more and more who we really are.
Alongside trusting Life, this means more and more fulfilment, satisfaction, joy, flow, meaning, and purpose.
I've found this in my own journey of my Soul, where following my Callings has supported me to take the journey from a young woman terrified to speak, full of self-judgment about myself and my work, able to coerce myself to the point of burnout, to an older woman who loves to speak, who is compassionate towards myself and I deeply value what I do and create, and I am unwilling to coerce myself; instead I fly on the currents of the winds of willingness.
I know from my own experience how wondrous this journey is, and I am so willing to keep exploring this journey for many decades to come. Now in my late fifties, I've only just begun.
I love supporting people in their own Soul's journey.
I love helping people see more clearly how all the elements of their lives are interrelated, and how their Soul's Callings were always woven into the very fabric of their lives, from their most excruciatingly painful experiences, to their most joyful ones.
I love supporting people to become more who they really are, get freer and freer from self-judgment and comparison, increasingly acting from willingness not coercion, and feeling more and more fulfilment, as they increasingly trust themselves, the Souls who are magnetised to them, and Life's support.

FOLLOWING OUR CALLINGS
Every fortnight (alternating weeks) ~ Monday 7am Sydney time ~ 2.5 hours
Starting 3rd August 2026 ~ ending 9th November 2026 ~ 8 sessions
This is for:
Folk who have the sense of following the Callings of their Soul or Life (even if you don't have as much clarity about that as you would like), who resonate deeply with The Marion Method and want to carry the maps and utilise the practices to feel an ever deeper sense of meaning, purpose, fulfilment, satisfaction, contribution, and trust in your Soul and Life, making a living doing what you love.
Most of all, it's for people who have a big YES to it!
Format:
Replays will be available in the portal.
Please note there is no written community (i.e. no Facebook or similar group).
The first session/s are likely to be inviting you to connect with, and share about, your Soul's Callings, and then the Callings for the rest of the year, and then I imagine we will move into willingness work.
