A few years back in September early one morning My friend and I woke up and we went on my covered front porch.
My house was built in 1886.
I had eight hummingbird feeders around my porch.
All of a sudden, a Hummer came up to the feeder, and my friend was in awe.
She just couldn't believe how tiny they were and she said to me "Oh my Goodness they're God's little miracles".
They're so precious, I can't believe how tiny they are".
And I asked her "You never saw hummingbird up close?"
She said "No I haven't".
With that, all of a sudden, 10 hummingbirds came on the inside of my porch and they were flying all around me in a circle.
One would come up to me and then it would go to the feeder and come back to me and another one would come up to me go to the feeder and come back to me.
That happened with all the birds and then they all flew into a tree next to my porch which I thought was odd because they're so territorial.
I didn't think they would sit together in a tree.
But they were saying goodbye to me.
I couldn't believe they were leaving already.
It made me so sad but so happy that they did that to me.
I just couldn't believe it and then in the spring when they're back and they see me, they come flying up to me and they buzz in my ear.
I say, "I know you're back, the food is on my porch".
I think that's one of the best stories that I've ever had.
Of course neither one of us had our cell phones on us to record this but I was so happy that she was there with me to witness it.
