Hope Filled June!

 

One thing that I love about the Lord is that His hope does not disappoint.  His word says in Romans 5 that we glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.  If you have been disappointed, take a look at what you have been putting your hope in. Is your hope in the Lord or in your ability to make things work out? Is your hope coming from the Holy Spirit inside of you or from what you think others can do for you? If you are in the tribulation and perseverance portion of that scripture be encouraged because your character (who you are at your core) is being transformed; Hope will then abound in you! Thank God for not only the sacrifice of His son but sending His Holy Spirit to live inside of us and give us all of the help we need.
