“Igniting interest in manufacturing and professional trades careers among youth through innovation and outreach” |
|
This summer, Shop Rat Foundation has been out in the community inspiring the next generation of makers and problem-solvers! We participated in the 32nd Annual Learning Fair at Northwest Elementary School and the Jackson Back to School Blast Community Resource Fair, where families explored 3D printing through live demonstrations, received 3D-printed giveaways, and learned how advanced manufacturing technology is shaping future careers. We also partnered with the YMCA during their STEAM Week, bringing in the DreamMakers Robotics Team for an interactive robotics demonstration. Nearly 50 youth experienced hands-on learning as they explored robotics, engineering, and the exciting possibilities within STEM. |
