Are you ready for Rochester? |
|
Just checking in: we know you are busy enjoying your summer and preparing to travel to campus next month, but don't forget to complete your online orientation program! All components of Rochester Ready are due by Friday, August 21. |
|
Arrival day details are now available! |
|
Details and instructions for your selected arrival day are now available on our website. Make sure to read the instructions carefully, as they are based on what transportation method you will be using to arrive on campus: - by University-sponsored airport shuttle
- by taxi, rideshare, or hotel shuttle
- driving yourself
Commuter students: if you are living off-campus, review the instructions here for arriving to campus and checking in on Tuesday, August 25. Both arrival days consist of two required check-in steps: - Residential Life check-in & move-in (residential students only): You'll pick up your room key, room information, and move your belongings into your room.
- Welcome Week check-in: You'll pick up your campus ID card, Welcome Week wristband and t-shirt, mailbox information, and check in with the orientation team. Community organizations and local companies will also be available, including banks and national phone carriers if you need to set up a Rochester-area bank account or U.S. phone plan.

Sign up for faculty- and staff-hosted meals. |
|
Join a URochester faculty or staff member for a meal in one of our all-you-can-eat campus dining centers during Welcome Week. Taking place on New Student Arrival Days (Monday, August 24 and Tuesday, August 25), these meals offer the opportunity to chat one-on-one with a faculty or staff member about academics, campus life, internship opportunities, and more! Spots are limited, and advance registration is required by Friday, August 7. Please make sure to confirm your move-in date and time slot prior to selecting a meal period on the registration form. |
