Aspire's fall semester is almost here, and this is our final call to help connect adults in our community with free educational opportunities before classes begin.

 

If you know someone who wants to earn their GED or improve their English, now is the time to share the opportunity. Our tuition-free programs offer supportive teachers, flexible schedules, and both in-person and online options designed to help busy adults succeed.

 

Sometimes all it takes is one conversation. A friend, family member, coworker, neighbor, or church member may be looking for a second chance, and you could be the person who helps them find it.

🎄 What to expect:

Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning to celebrate with the Aspire community, Mingle & Jingle is a special way to enjoy the holiday season while supporting adult literacy across North Texas.

 

In Dallas County, 1 in 4 adults struggles with low literacy. Behind that statistic are parents who want to help with homework, employees working toward better jobs, neighbors learning English, and adults determined to earn their GED after years away from the classroom.

 

Next month, hundreds of these students will begin classes at Aspire, and we are looking for volunteer teachers to help them succeed.

 

You do not need teaching experience to make a meaningful impact. Aspire provides the training, curriculum, and ongoing support you need. All you have to bring is patience, encouragement, and a willingness to help someone reach their goals.

Just a few hours each week can change the trajectory of a student's life. A volunteer teacher offers more than lessons; they provide confidence, consistency, and the reminder that it's never too late to learn.
