Hundreds of Eaton Fire Survivors To Urge Governor Newsom to Choose Democracy Over Corporate Special Interests
 
Survivor-led press conference and postcard party launch DearNewsom.org, calling on Governor Newsom to protect survivors, not the perpetrators of California's catastrophic fires.
 
ALTADENA, Calif. Eighteen months after the Eaton Fire, hundreds of survivors will gather with elected officials, consumer advocates, civil rights organizations, labor leaders, and community organizations to launch DearNewsom.org. Following the press conference, reporters can interview hundreds of Eaton Fire survivors and capture powerful visuals as survivors write personal postcards to Governor Newsom describing what recovery really looks like.

WHAT: Survivor-Led Press Conference & Postcard Party launching DearNewsom.org and calling on Governor Newsom to choose democracy over corporate special interests, protect survivors, and debate wildfire liability reforms in public through the ordinary legislative process. No more 11th-hour backroom deals.
