Last week, Coventry BID was delighted to welcome Jo Leek, Business Crime Reduction Manager from Wolverhampton BID, for a visit to learn more about the partnership work taking place across Coventry's city centre.
Jo's visit followed Coventry's recent achievement of Purple Flag accreditation, recognising the city's commitment to creating a safe, welcoming and well-managed evening and night-time economy (NTE). The visit provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the collaborative work being delivered by Coventry BID alongside West Midlands Police, Coventry City Council and our wider business partners.
Throughout the visit, ideas and experiences were shared on a range of topics, including business crime reduction, partnership working, city centre safety initiatives and supporting the night-time economy.
Coventry BID firmly believes that sharing best practice between Business Improvement Districts benefits everyone, helping to develop new initiatives, strengthen partnerships and improve safety for businesses, visitors and residents alike.
