Hello, hello, hello!!
A few updates from me.
First, I moved. I'm clear across the country up north of Seattle. So far I'm loving it. I've always loved the Pacific North West and now I'm here. Anyone want to buy a condo in Fargo that overlooks a concert venue? Get in touch. ;)

Other news and more importantly, book news!
After deciding to try and sell my condo, getting sick with covid and bronchitis, then doing a three day trek with just my 12 year old pup, guess what I finally finished? Tanner's book. That's Tanner Bennett and I LOVED writing him and North. There's quite a few Easter eggs from other books in here as well, but new readers can totally read it as a standalone. My beta reader didn't even know other books existed until I mentioned it.
If you do want to read the others for maximum enjoyment, The Goalie's Hitman takes place after Bennett Mafia, Jonah Bennett, and also My Brother's Enemy. But again, if you don't want to read those and still enjoy an mm hockey mafia romance, then you're completely fine to read it when it comes out. (Carter Reed also makes a few appearances.) But more about that in the future.

Other news:
I'm doing a book signing August 15th at Hardcovers Romance Bookstore in Mill Creek, WA. Bailey is going to be there with me from 11-1 pm. The store will be selling the special editions of My Anti-Hero, Frisco, and Hate To Love You. They might have more, I'm not sure, but they said that readers can bring their own books to get signed. I have no limit. I'm just grateful for anyone to come and say hi. Bailey will now be more grateful than myself.

And, I'll be going back to sharing a chapter from an upcoming book that I'm working on. In this case, some readers might already know the book. It was previously shared in an anthology, but it's mine again to do as I please and the characters FINALLY started talking to me. So, I took advantage. It's the one I'm currently writing. Stay tuned.
I'll share a new chapter until the book is published. Have fun!

Also, since I've started to settle in a bit more at the new place, I'm beginning to look ahead to getting my bookstore up and going. I'll be offering new special edition covers for Pine River, Anti-Stepbrother, possibly Canary, but also one more (if I can make it work.) There's a hint below at this book.

That's it. Come see me in Mill Creek, WA on the 15th or just enjoy reading my newest WIP below.

Get ready for Hostile.
This was previously published in an anthology and titled F*ck, but these characters finally started talking to me one random day so since then, I'm letting the toxic and addictive and entertaining chemistry between these two characters pour out of me. Read at your own risk. The chapters I'll be sharing here every month will not be edited. I do that at the end.
Respect my copyright, which means only read these chapters in the newsletters. Do not take from me. This has happened before and if it happens again, I will not be sharing more chapters. Just please respect to read the chapters where and how I give them to you.
Chapter One
“Two more days.”
Wait. I looked up. “What?”
“Huh?”
I was breathless, sweating, and panting, and almost bursting because I was about to climax and Aiden’s poised above me, his dick inside of me and his forehead scrunched up as I wasn’t going to be alone in coming soon. But then he said those words, and they were muttered, and a chill went down my spine because I knew, I just knew, those weren’t meant for me to hear.
He froze, while I was still throbbing, and dammit, I wanted him to finish, but what the hell?
“What did you just say?”
He groaned, grinding in and against me, holding himself up with his arms on the bed beside me. “What?”
Oh, no. No way, buddy.
I shook my head. “You said, ‘Two more days.’ What’s in two more days?”
He froze even more.
That shiver down my back doubled because this wasn’t good. This was so not good.
“I didn’t say that.”
“You did.”
“Baby. It’s nothing.”
Normally that name would make me melt. Not this time. “It’s not nothing.”
And we’re fighting. We’re fighting while we’re fucking, and I was about to come. What. The. Hell. But I couldn’t let it go. Aiden was always so controlled and tight. He’s a great boyfriend, but that’s my only complaint. We started dating early in our freshman year—actually it was the end of our eighth grade, during the summer. Aiden grew up to be the typical popular guy. Great in sports, captain of cross-country and track, and basketball. He was nice to everyone. Hella hot with a dimple in his chin, hazel eyes, tawny-blond hair that had a slight flip over his forehead. It was adorable. He lifted weights and kept a six-pack. He wasn’t the most ripped guy in our grade, but he was close to it.
And again, had I mentioned he was nice?
Nice to everyone. The guy that some might’ve considered boring, but I didn’t. I had an appreciation for a guy that was reliable and had his shit together. Aiden Garner had his shit together. He was graduating valedictorian, headed to Columbia, and he had plans. He hadn’t shared with me, but I had a feeling he wanted to go into politics, following in his father’s footsteps who was the town’s mayor. I also had a feeling Aiden wanted more. He wanted to head to Washington, and I was down for the ride.
I loved Aiden. I had since the first day he roller-bladed up to me at the park, took my hand, and we skated off together. It’d been the highlight of my eighth grade.
We’d been together ever since.
He was staring at me now, horrified, and I felt him pulling away before he even moved.
I tried clenching down on him, not letting him go, but then he was sliding out of me, his head down, his eyes not looking at me. “I’m so sorry to do this. So sorry.”
“Hey.”
He wouldn’t look at me, and he was all the way out and climbing off the bed, standing.
The condom was pulled off as he went in the bathroom. He came back and he still wouldn’t look at me.
“Aiden.”
I sat up, but my chest was heaving.
I was used to getting attention. I did some modeling, so girls already didn’t like me because of that. I was tall, long legs, had dusty-blonde hair, high-set cheekbones, and smoky grey eyes that photographed well. So, yeah. Attention. I was used to it, but while I endured the gossip and the whispers about me, I wouldn’t about my sex life.
We’d had an active sex life, for maybe longer than we should’ve been, but I loved him. Always had. He was the one for me and why not? I also just liked sex. I never let anything or anyone shame me because fuck them for doing that. This was private and no one’s business, and if you wanted it to be yours, get a fucking life. Literally. That was my viewpoint on sex, and always had been, always would be. Because of that, I was hella frustrated because whatever was going on, I still wanted to climax!
He pulled on his boxers, then bent, the rest of his clothes were bunched in his hands.
He turned, his shoulders tensed, and he started for the door.
“HEY!” I bolted upright. “What the hell?!”
He froze, his head up, his shoulders back, so rigid, and then, slowly, he turned to me.
A cold feeling went through me, slicing right to my gut.
His whole face was twisted, his eyes anguished. “I can’t do this anymore, Ty.”
“Do what?” I tried to reach up, but I couldn’t. We went with slight-kink for this round and tied my wrists up against the headboard. There was some slack in the rope, but not enough. I was fully exposed. Normally I didn’t give a shit because I was fine with all that, but with him being how he was, yeah… feeling a bit self-conscious here.
And panicky and I didn’t know how to comprehend being panicky.
I didn’t panic. I just either handled the shit or I didn’t. There was no in-between for me, but this, him now, what was happening? I was starting to hyperventilate.
He shook his head, taking an abrupt step back, and I paused, still on the bed.
He swallowed, and it looked painful. Then, everything settled. His face cleared. His shoulders fell back down, and the resignation was palpable, but also the relief. I felt slapped by it, with a sense of impending doom right on its tail because I heard him say, “I’m in love with Sadie.” His eyes were getting shiny, and his voice got choked up. “I was going to tell you in two days, but … I can’t be with you anymore.”
I—what?!
