| | Hey friend,
Welcome to this week's edition of our newsletter. I'm so glad you're here.
This issue is filled with things close to my heart — a brand-new picture storybook that's been years in the making, a fresh essential oil reflection, our Soul Talk Plus membership, and a heartfelt recommendation from someone whose work I truly admire.
Whether you have five minutes or fifty, I hope something here speaks to you today. Pull up a chair, make yourself a cup of tea, and let's begin. |

| | | | | | | | | | | | | Life has a funny way of taking us down roads we never expect. Looking back, I can see that some of the most meaningful experiences in my life began with a simple "yes."
In 1995, I self-published a small book called Psychic Detective. It was my first nonfiction book and, admittedly, not the best organized. My dear husband graciously corrected my grammar, helped format it, and got it ready for printing. I printed only 100 copies for clients, sold most of them myself, and tucked away about five copies, never imagining where one of them would end up.
One of those copies was passed from person to person until it landed in the hands of someone who picked up the phone and called me. "Hi, I'm Tom Walker."
I immediately recognized the name. Tom was well known as the author of Fort Apache, which became the acclaimed film starring Paul Newman.
He told me he had read my book and had heard I was a capable psychic detective. He wanted to create a television series based on psychic detectives working real cases and wondered if I would be interested in helping.
My answer was simple. "Yes."
We agreed to meet at a hotel in Fort Lee, New Jersey, and that meeting became the beginning of an easy and lasting friendship.
During our first conversation, I surprised Tom with a question. "Were you the captain of the 41st Precinct around 1971?" He smiled. "Yes."
I continued. "Do you remember issuing an APB after trouble broke out with the methadone clinic below our psychiatric unit?" Again, he answered yes.
I laughed and said, "Well, Tom, I was the nurse responsible for escorting the methadone clinic staff safely to our psychiatric unit to protect them during all that chaos."
Neither of us had any idea we had crossed paths years before. We laughed about it, grateful that enough time had passed for the stressful memories to become stories.
Our friendship grew, and Tom introduced me to a Hollywood talent agent who was a close friend of his. Although representing projects like ours wasn't normally his specialty, he believed in Tom—and soon he believed in me.
The project gained momentum.
Before long, legendary television producer Stephen J. Cannell's company became interested. A screenwriter spent hours interviewing me by phone, gathering material to begin developing a script. Then came the exciting news: a contract was being prepared. I was even told the date it would arrive and what the initial payment would be. Then, the day before everything was to become official, the unexpected happened.
Stephen J. Cannell sold his production company. Every unsigned contract was canceled. Just like that, our project disappeared. Tom called me, devastated.
I wasn't. I simply told him, “It’s not the right timing for our spiritual paths."
Sometimes life closes one door because it's quietly leading us toward another we never saw coming.
Little did I know, that next turn would eventually lead me somewhere completely unexpected...to baseball.

| | | | | | Soul Perspective
Life rarely unfolds in a straight line. More often, it reveals itself one unexpected turn, one open door, and one faithful "yes" at a time.
This week's story reminds us that some of life's greatest adventures begin with a single decision to trust the next step, even when we cannot see where it will lead. A self-published book, an unexpected phone call, a new friendship, and a door that suddenly closed all became part of a much larger journey that was still quietly unfolding.
Into the Future encourages us to embrace life's winding path with hope rather than hesitation. Its aroma reminds us that what may appear to be a disappointment today could become tomorrow's greatest blessing. As we learn to trust divine timing, we discover that every detour, every connection, and every unexpected turn may be guiding us toward something far greater than we could have planned ourselves. Key Ingredients
Sweet almond oil, Clary sage oil, Ylang ylang flower oil, White fir branch/leaf/wood oil, Idaho Blue spruce branch/leaf/wood oil, Jasmine oil, Juniper oil, Frankincense oil, Orange peel extract, Cedarwood bark oil, White lotus flower extract
How to Use Into the Future™
Diffuse: Diffuse when beginning a new project, making an important decision, or whenever you need encouragement to trust the path ahead.
Inhale: Place a drop in your palms, rub together gently, and inhale while reminding yourself that every meaningful journey begins with one step.
Topical: Dilute with a carrier oil and apply to the heart space, wrists, or the bottoms of the feet.
Ritual idea: Take a short walk outdoors. As you walk, reflect on one unexpected turn in your life that ultimately became a blessing. Offer gratitude for the parts of your journey that only make sense in hindsight, and remain open to the next chapter still waiting to unfold.
Soul Prompt Journaling Questions
Looking back, what unexpected detour became one of life's greatest gifts? Where might life be inviting me to trust the next step before I can see the entire path?
