I'm in NYC with my son for a few days, and this afternoon he got some quality cousin time — which meant I had a few hours to myself before meeting everyone for dinner. Naturally, I hit a few shops along the avenues. Here are some of the fun finds I came across…

I wore this dress yesterday and it's the easiest, greatest casual cotton tee-shirt dress — throw it on and go. It also comes in black.

These woven flats- I logged 20,000 steps in these yesterday and they were so comfortable. 

I tried this striped sweater on over it at Tuckernuck, and the two together were such a good combo.

I've been wanting to try this green dress on ever since I first spotted it — it's the prettiest shade of green, and such a classic to have hanging in your closet.

These Doen scarf pants were beautiful! I'd wear them with a knit, a simple tank, or a fitted top — and this cardigan nearby was just as classic and pretty.
