Last weekend was my favorite weekend of the year. 

 

The lake!!!

 

Every single year since my dad was 2, we've been going to Shangri La on Lake Ouachita with my whole entire dad's side of the family. I get to see people I only see once a year, swim in the pool, swim in the lake, play a ton of games, and eat the best pie in the world!

 

I always take some things to do with my hands. Previous years I've worked on my hexie quilt, but this year I took my crochet and knitting projects! 

 

It was nice to take a little break from quilting and social media.
