Nothing about you has to disappear for you to be loved.
Â
Beloved,
Â
Something has been deepening within my understanding of The Governing Heart™.
Â
For a long time, I have spoken about Divine Coherence as the relationship between body, mind, heart, spirit, nervous system and the greater field of Life.
Â
But lately, something even more fundamental has been revealing itself.
Â
Belonging.
Â
Not belonging as something another person gives us.
Â
Not belonging to a relationship, community, family or spiritual tradition.
Â
I am speaking about the profound inner experience of every part of ourselves knowing that it has a place within us.
Â
And perhaps this is one of the deepest functions of The Governing Heart™:
Â
To become the inner environment in which nothing within us must be exiled in order for us to experience Love.
Â
What I am witnessing
Â
I see this in my own life.
Â
And I witness it repeatedly in my work with women.
Â
A woman may intellectually know that she is worthy, powerful and capable—and yet a younger place inside her still whispers:
Â
Please don’t leave me.
Â
Another part may know exactly what boundary needs to be spoken, while another fears:
Â
If I say what I really feel, will I still be loved?
Â
Another woman may deeply trust God, Source and Life—and still discover a frightened part trying to predict every possible outcome so she can finally feel safe.
Â
These parts are not evidence that something has gone wrong.
Â
They are not interruptions to our spiritual development.
Â
They belong.
Â
This has changed the way I understand wholeness.
Â
Wholeness isn’t the absence of contradiction.
Â
It isn’t arriving at a state where fear, doubt, grief, anger, longing or uncertainty never visit again.
Â
Wholeness is our growing capacity to remain present when they do.
Â
To say:
Â
I see you.
Â
I hear you.
Â
You don’t have to leave for me to remain whole.
Â
And from that place, something extraordinary begins to happen.
Â
The part no longer has to scream to be heard.
Â
The nervous system no longer has to organize our entire life around protecting it.
Â
The mind no longer has to solve it.
Â
The heart gives it somewhere to belong.
Â
And coherence begins to emerge naturally.
Â
🌹 Dialogue to Wholeness
Â
This is why I have been developing a simple Governing Heart™ practice I call Dialogue to Wholeness.
Â
It is not about fixing the fragmented part.
Â
It is a practice of relationship with ourselves.
Â
When you notice activation—self-doubt, abandonment, fear, anger, jealousy, urgency, the impulse to chase, withdraw, defend or over-explain—rather than immediately acting from that part, pause.
Â
Bring your awareness inward.
Â
1. Notice.
What part of me is here right now?
Â
2. Approach.
Rather than judging the feeling, allow your resourced adult self to turn toward it:
Â
I’m here with you. Tell me what’s going on.
Â
3. Listen.
Let the part answer without correcting it.
Â
I’m afraid.
Â
I feel abandoned.
Â
I don’t think I’m enough.
Â
I don’t want to lose this.
Â
Whatever comes, let it be true for that part.
Â
4. Hold.
Bring the frightened or fragmented part into relationship with your resourced self and the deeper presence of Source.
Â
You might place your hand over your heart and say:
Â
I see you.
Â
You belong here.
Â
You are not alone.
Â
Nothing about you has to disappear for you to be loved.
Â
5. Return.
Â
Then ask:
Â
Where does this part belong within me when Love is governing?
Â
And wait.
Â
You may discover that the frightened child belongs close to your heart—but not at the steering wheel.
Â
The protector may belong beside you—but no longer needs to stand guard over every relationship.
Â
The discerning mind belongs within you—but does not need to control what cannot be known.
Â
The sensual woman belongs.
Â
The grieving woman belongs.
Â
The powerful woman belongs.
Â
The uncertain woman belongs.
Â
Every part has a place.
Not every part has to govern.
Â
This distinction feels essential.
Â
The Governing Heart does not exile.
Â
It organizes through Love.
Â
And perhaps that is why this prayer has been moving so deeply through me:
Â
“May every part of me find its rightful place within Love.”
Â
Not:
May I finally get rid of my fear.
Â
Not:
May I become so healed that nothing activates me.
Â
Not even:
May every part of me agree.
Â
But—
Â
May everything within me remember where it belongs.
Â
Because when nothing within us is fighting for its right to exist, tremendous energy becomes available.
Â
Energy that was once used for protection becomes presence.
Â
Energy that was once hypervigilance becomes discernment.
Â
Energy that once chased belonging becomes available for creativity, intimacy, pleasure and service.
Â
And gradually, the woman stops trying to become whole.
Â
She recognizes:
Â
Wholeness was never something she lost.
She was learning how to welcome herself back into it.
Â
Â
🌹 A Governing Heart Reflection
Â
The next time something within you becomes activated, rather than asking:
Â
How do I get rid of this?
Â
Try asking:
Â
What part of me is asking to be brought back into belonging?
Â
And then listen.
Â
Not from the mind searching for an answer.
Â
From the Heart willing to remain.
Â
This is the practice.
Â
This is the return.
Â
This is The Governing Heart™.
Â
Â
“Coherence is not created by forcing every part of ourselves into agreement. It emerges when every part remembers that it belongs.”
Â
Â
An Invitation 🌹
Â
If you recognize yourself somewhere in these words, I invite you into a private Governing Heart™ Session with me.
Â
Together, we create space to listen beneath the presenting story—to the patterns, protective strategies, desires and forgotten parts asking to be brought back into relationship with you.
Â
Not to fix you.
Â
Not to make you into someone new.
Â
But to help you remember the inner architecture that was always there.
Â
Body as Oracle.
Heart as Governing Presence.
Mind as Scribe.
Soul as Radiance.
Â
And every part held within the greater belonging of Love.
Â
If you feel the resonance, reply to this email with “HEART”, and we can begin the conversation.
