GENERAL OBSERVATIONS:
1. Due to the volume of applications, priority was given to organisations whose core mission is nature conservation, particularly those operating at a grassroots level.

2. Organisations with little or no online presence did not progress.

3. Applications focused on urban, semi-urban, or agricultural settings did not move forward. Similarly, projects that were solely social or educational did not progress.

4. Applications without clear or measurable objectives also did not move forward.

If none of these points seem to apply to your project, it likely that this simply reflects the strength of competition this round — the successful applications were either a closer match for our funding priorities or more effectively presented.

Our next funding round is likely to be March 2027 - please check our website and social media for any updates.

Sincerest apologies again, we wish you all the very best with your valuable conservation work.
