✨ Today we covered:
✅ Your workflows are a hiring map: When you finish your Buyer and Seller workflows, look at what is left. Six ten-minute tasks is a full hour of your day. That hour is where your first hire lives, and the workflow is what shows you which tasks to hand over first.
✅ It's not the how, it's the who: Growing your business does not mean adding more to your plate. It means asking who can carry this instead of me. Your number one job is to be the visionary... the one with the ideas, the strategy, the direction.
✅ The 10 / 80 / 10 model: You give the idea and the instructions, that is your first 10%. Your support carries the 80% in the middle. You come back for the final 10% to review and tweak. You are still the beginner and the finisher. You are just not doing the exhausting middle.
✅ Start virtual, then go in person: A virtual assistant runs roughly $4 to $7 an hour. An in-person assistant runs $25 to $35. Start with the virtual support to clear the small recurring tasks, then build toward the in-person role when the need is real. And do not shop for the cheapest... pay someone well so they perform well.
✅ Hire for the role, not out of kindness: There is a difference between hiring someone who would be grateful for the work and hiring the person your business actually needs. Both can be good. Only one is a business decision.
✅ Run the math on one lead gen pillar: We walked it live. Consistent daily posting for a year, a handful of closings, an average commission... versus what a virtual assistant costs for that same year. When you see the numbers side by side, hiring stops looking like a cost and starts looking like what it is. An investment in a lead generation pillar you are currently too busy to run.
✅ The content tracker system: I walked us through the exact tracker my Team runs. A weekly rhythm... this or that on Mondays, testimonials on Tuesdays, newsletter Wednesdays, price drops Thursdays, open house and brand builder Fridays. Every post has text on screen, a caption, and a Canva link. Status column reads yes post, needs review, or hold. She has not opened that sheet in a long time.
✅ Loom is faster than typing: When you give feedback, record a quick Loom instead of writing notes. You can say in ninety seconds what would take fifteen minutes to type, and your support hears exactly how you want it.
✅ Your first VA task: Have them go through everything you have already posted, drop it into AI, and build you a 90-day content calendar in your own voice. You have been doing it yourself this whole time, which means the North Star is already there. They just have to follow it.
✅ Leverage is not a luxury you have not earned yet: You would tell your best friend she deserves help. You would tell the stay-at-home mom in your life she deserves a break. Now say it to yourself, out loud, whether or not you closed anything this month. You deserve to have the help 🌺
