I have had the extremely rare pleasure of being totally alone in this house for the last week. B travelled back to FL to help with some family stuff, but I stayed here. And it’s been so odd. I truly didn’t know what to do with myself. Time lost all meaning. I just ate whatever random thing I could create from whatever was in the fridge or the freezer. I stayed up too late. I did crafty stuff. I watched 90s movies. I listened to the tick of the clock. I watched the birds. B got back on Wednesday, so real life came back, too. But it’s left me realizing that I need to make more time for just me. Because I’m rusty.
