Hi First name / friend,  Engagements have a way of coming with a surprise second (and third) question: "Wait, where is the wedding and where is everyone staying?!"  Whether the wedding is yours, a friend's, or a family member's, dealing with the guest accommodations catches almost everyone off guard. Room blocks, contracts, rooming lists, transportation.  They're the bits you put off because they're not as fun as the dress, the flowers, or the venue.  On top of that, guests typically fly in ahead of the welcome dinner and build a few days onto the front or back end, so one ceremony often becomes a week or more away.  Having a travel advisor with expertise in managing group bookings is your game changer.  As a once-upon-a-time wedding planner (and someone who planned/had three weddings with my husband), I understand what a wedding day asks of a couple and their families. Hotel contracts and room blocks do not need to be one more thing on your list..  Below, are some of the ways we take wedding weight off the shoulders of the couple, the parents, and anyone else helping to bring the big day together. |

WHAT GOOD TRIPS CAN HANDLE FOR YOU  These are the wedding pieces we take on, in whatever combination makes sense for your wedding.  Destination discovery Destination weddings are where we sing. Bring us in before you know where you want to go and we'll help you find the place that fits the wedding you're picturing. This is most common for weddings taking place at destination hotels.  Venue sourcing and requests for proposals If you’re considering a destination hotel, we reach out to properties worth considering, most of which we hold established partnerships with, and compare rates, availability, event space, and terms before bringing you a shortlist.  Contract review and negotiation Reading the fine print and negotiating for better concessions, better terms, and more flexibility.  Room block setup*** The big one. Locking in a group rate for guests and making sure the hotel doesn't sell out of the rooms you need. This is necessary whether you’re handling ceremonies in your home town or in the Seychelles.  Rooming list management Tracking who's staying where, handling special requests, and keeping the hotel and guests in sync, so no one is texting the couple to ask for the booking code again.  Transportation coordination From airport pickups to venue shuttles, mapping out all the moving pieces of getting guests where they need to be.  Pre and post wedding trips Guests often want to see more of the destination on the front or back end. Hand them our name and they book their own extensions with us. Otherwise those hundred questions land on you, when you have the least room for them.  |

WHAT YOU WON'T LEAVE ON THE TABLE  Through the partnerships we have, there’s often more room to negotiate than couples expect—on room rates, what’s included for the couple and VIP guests, fees, and contract terms. On top of that, we know what hotels are great––for the ceremony, reception, and room blocks, and the not so great that we should avoid.  Why starting early matters Peak wedding weekends fill faster than most couples expect, and getting the room blocks under way 12–18 months out means more options, better rates, and more flexibility. |

You likely haven't been dreaming of room blocks since you were young, so don't let them steal your joy once your big day is on the horizon.  Whether you're freshly engaged, mid-planning, or passing this along to someone who just said yes, we're here so couples can focus on the parts they've been imagining since long before the proposal. |

That random uncle won't be calling about the shuttle schedule, your inbox won't fill with booking questions, and you get to walk into your wedding having as much fun as the guests. |
