Titan Nation,

 

This was the first official full-week of school for our Titans. From our infants to our seniors, our schools have begun to feel full of life as our scholars return to the classroom. Although our week has just begun, the school year is off to a great start.

 

Over the past week, our seniors participated in the Senior Bell Ceremony, our 8th graders participated in a bonding field trip, our football team hosted and won the Kickoff Classic, and our juniors walked the halls with decorated J-necklaces.

 

Additionally, early bird tickets for the 2026 Dash of the Titans are on sale until this upcoming Monday.

senior Bell Ceremony

On Monday, the Class of 2027 participated in one of the most significant and emotional traditions in our school – the senior bell ceremony. 

On their first day of school, our graduating scholars gather as a class and walk through a tunnel composed of their friends, teachers, and faculty members to ring a brass bell, gifted to the school by the Class of 2025, located in the entrance of our school. This ring officially marks the beginning of their final year in high school. 

 

This year's ceremony was extremely emotional as, one by one, our scholars participated in this True North tradition. This was especially significant for several of our scholars who are reaching this milestone alongside their siblings.

Junior j's

This week, our juniors celebrated their first official week of school by wearing their carefully crafted J necklaces. This Titan tradition allows our junior scholars to celebrate this class milestone while inviting them to add their own creative twists. For instance, some of our scholars decided to use this moment to celebrate individual milestones from previous years by displaying photos in their J’s, while others decorated theirs with elements that represent who they are as individuals.

8th Grade Titan Strike Together

Our Sunset and Pinecrest Logic School scholars had their 8th grade Titan Strike Together field trip. During this event, they spent an afternoon of comradery where they bonded as Titans, created memories, and participated in a series of fun activities, like bowling and arcade games. The purpose of this trip is to strengthen the relationship between our scholars – especially those who are currently in different campuses. This does not only allow them to build stronger friendship, but also allows them to set the tone for the new school year.

Kickoff classic 

Our True North Football Team hosted Mater Academy for the Kickoff Classic Game.

 

Our True North Titans won the game with a dominant 40-14 score, and put up some impressive game numbers, which included 487 total yards, 5 touchdowns, and 1 field goal. If this week captures what is to come, our football team is ready to record a historic season.
