As we head into September, it always reminds me of going back to school, reading, writing, and books. September 7th is also National Buy A Book Day, encouraging readers to support their favorite authors and independent bookstores. This became the inspiration behind September's Creative Spark Club mail where we'll be making books of our own in the form of a mini zine and accordion fold book! I designed the accordion books to look like composition notebooks, a nod to taking notes in school and a bit of nostalgia--they are such a classic staple to me! 

The mail will include all the materials you need to make the mini book and the letter comes in the form of a zine for you to fold so you get to practice before you make your own! Also included is a bookmark inspired quote card and this month's prompt card. You'll also get access to online resources including directions on how to make everything, other book folding ideas, inspiration and examples of what to fill your pages with, and more.

I'm really looking forward to this project and have been thinking of what I want to fill my mini composition notebook with! Maybe keep with the nostalgia theme and include things I loved in the 90s :) I'll keep you posted!
