We’re kicking off a brand new season with a celebration of everything we love about Dixon Dance Studio! Join us Saturday, September 26 for an afternoon filled with dancing, community, and fun for the whole family.
Our Back to Dance Bash is a chance for our current DDS families to come together, celebrate the start of a new season, and enjoy an afternoon at the studio. It’s also the perfect opportunity for new families to step inside, meet our teachers, see our dancers in action, try out some dance, and get a feel for what makes DDS so special.
Expect plenty of dancing, music, food, games, prizes, raffles, a photo area, and more! ✨

A New Competition Season Begins!
A brand-new competition season is officially underway, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our Competition Team back into the studio!
After an incredible season last year, our dancers are ready to set new goals, take on new challenges, and continue growing both as dancers and as a team. We’re looking forward to a season filled with hard work, new choreography, exciting opportunities, and plenty of memories along the way.
Here’s to a fresh start, a new season, and another year of watching our dancers push themselves, support one another, and do what they love most — dance! We can’t wait to see where this season takes us!
LUX DANCE CONVENTION
LUX Dance Convention – Right Here at DDS!
We are so excited to once again welcome LUX, led by the incredible DJ Guthrie, who we’ve had the pleasure of working with for over 10 years. LUX has been bringing their unmatched convention experience to our studio for nearly a decade, and it’s one of the highlights of our year.
Over the weekend, dancers will be split into age-appropriate rooms right here in our own studio and train in a variety of styles with top-tier teachers and choreographers. In the past, LUX has brought us jazz, hip hop, contemporary, funk, musical theater, and more.

3-4 world-class instructors working closely with our dancers in a safe, familiar environment.
Specialty classes like team building, the Business of Dance, and the ALPHAS Experience.

**Students must bring their own lunch and snacks. We will have a small refrigerator and microwave available for use. A daily schedule will be published closer to convention date and will include lunch times for drop off.

Labor Day Weekend Studio Closure
Just a heads up—DDS will be closed Saturday, September 5th through Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day weekend. We hope you enjoy a restful break with family and friends!
Classes will resume as usual on Tuesday, September 8th.
