This month we launched our Kwagalana Initiative in Uganda. Kwagalana means “love each other" in Luganda. Our aim with this Initiative is to empower single mothers to establish their own small business to provide for their families. Our first mother to join the Initiative has found her shop and started cleaning and painting this month.

This month we had one of our mother's son be involved in a boda boda accident, thankfully he wasn't too badly hurt but we were able to cover his medical costs at the local doctor. We also helped another two children in the village who had both come down with chicken pox. We were able to provide extra funds for their care at home. Thanks to all of you who regularly give into our ministry we are able to give funds when these emergencies arise.

We were able to provide all the extra costs for our 2026 candidates who were required to stay at school over the holidays for their exam preparation. We covered their school fees and extra supplies for their stay. Last week we were also able to send over all the Term 3 school fees needed for our Senior students, their supplies and travel costs. They will be heading back to school today, praise God!

We have the rest of our younger students returning back to school on the 7th of September. We still are short of the funds needed to return all the children back to school. If you'd like to give and help us to get all children back to school next week we would be so grateful. We have had a lot of expenses this month out of the ordinary so we are still short of our needs.

PRAYER & PRAISE POINTS

- Pray for the remaining funds to come in for Term 3 school fees starting next week.

- Pray for Zainah and Latif that they do well in their final exams coming up in October.

- Pray for funds to cover our office rent and family support.

- Pray for a ticket for Helder (our evangelist) to move from Mozambique to Uganda to officially   join our team.

- Pray for five months rent up front for a small house in Uganda.
- Praise God for covering all our needs.
