Want to Change the World? Start by Getting More Involved! |
At Doctors for America, we believe meaningful change happens when doctors and trainees step up and take action. DFA is a membership-driven, bottom-up organization where our members help identify the problems, shape the priorities, and lead the work. So if you’ve ever thought, “I wish DFA would do more about ____,” here’s your invitation: help us to do it. You can do more by joining an Impact Area, leading a project, writing an op-ed, meeting with lawmakers, mentoring a Copello Fellow, or recruiting a colleague. You can do less by choosing one issue or one action where your voice can make a difference. Or do something different, bring us an idea for a campaign, partnership, training or initiative that DFA should pursue. You don’t have to wait for an invitation. Join something. Start something. Lead something. DFA is your organization. What will you do next? |

Welcome 2026/27 Copello Fellowship Cohort! |
The Copello Fellowship is a yearlong leadership and advocacy program that brings together emerging clinician-advocates to strengthen their skills in policy engagement, media strategy, community organizing, and health equity. Fellows meet monthly, participate in expert-led trainings, engage in DFA’s Impact Areas, and complete a capstone project demonstrating their advocacy impact. A warm welcome to our newest cohort! |
