August brought plenty of opportunities to put our mission into action! We connected with the community through a visit with Beulah United Methodist Church, celebrated generous support from 100 Women Who Care, participated in the ESGR Bosslift, and brought players and supporters together for our annual Pickleball Tournament. We also continued our mission through completing two more Warrior PATHH classes and another Struggle Well training with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
Later in the month, our team came together for Level II PTG training, joined the community for Pack the Park, connected with the military community at the SC Royal Danish Flyover, and welcomed our new Director of Development, Lisa Howland, to the BRBR team!

Reflection, Unity, and Doing Good
HONORING 9/11 THROUGH ACTION
This September, we pause to remember the lives lost on 9/11 and reflect on the lasting impact that day had on our military, first responders, families, and communities. From tragedy came powerful examples of reflection, unity, and doing good for others, values that continue to guide how we show up for one another today.
This month, we’re honoring that legacy through opportunities to connect, serve, and support our nation’s heroes. We hope you’ll join us at the Veterans Career Fair on September 10 and the 9/11 Salute through Service at USC’s Russell House on September 11.
