Hi SGC community!

Thank you so very much for all the feedback in the anonymous survey.
If you haven't filled it out yet please do, I'd love to hear your honest feedback about this group so I continue to improve it to help you and other sibling grievers feel safe and supportive.
With all of this information I received here are some small tweaks I will be making to the group:

IF YOU FEEL OVERWHELMED BY THE GROUP CHAT:
Please limit your attention to the Monday/ Friday Prompts.
On Mondays there will be a simple poll about how your grief feels that day and prompt with ideas for how to care for yourself that week.

On Fridays  I will post a simple poll so you can share about the week and I will also share some gentle thoughts to help encourage self compassion.

IF YOU FEEL WOULD LIKE TO CONNECT TO PEOPLE WITH YOUR SAME LOSS TYPE:
Make sure you spend time in the subgroups categorized by loss.
Each Tuesday you will receive a poll/ prompt/ or resource in the subgroup by loss, along with an invitation to share some of your own experience- or stories about your sibling.
On Fridays you will also be given a prompt to vent about anything frustrating that happened that week.

On Thursdays you will receive a prompt/ poll/ or resource in a subgroup of my choosing (subgroups like multiple losses, or coping with estranged parents, watching parents grief, etc.)

On Wednesdays you will receive a simple newsletter (like this one) where I share more about things we spoke about this week.

Finally - the meeting recordings will now look a bit different - as I will only record a short exercise or meditation I share. I will no longer record the intro to this exercise or meditation and instead share in the newsletter and on our home site how and when to use these exercises.

If you have thoughts about this new format please feel free to message me or of course fill out that anonymous survey so I can continue to keep this space feel safe and supportive!

Watch this recording if you struggle with intrusive images, nighttime panic, survivors guilt, or isolation
We did an exercise in self compassion that addresses each of these struggles specifically.

And if there is a specific topic you want covered, a certain situation you need advice on, or feedback for this community that doesn't fit in that survey please share it at the link below. Everything is shared anonymous
