The book had an AMAZING launch day on Friday, and I especially want to thank those of you who posted “Out NOW!” videos to social media and those of you who reposted my videos. Of course, the biggest thank you of them all goes to everyone who purchased the book or downloaded it to your Kindle Unlimited library. I ❤️my readers!

 

Kathryn and the rest of the crew are again SO CLOSE to cracking that top 100 ranking in Black Fantasy (it's bouncing around between 120 and 175). I have a little surprise for those of you who get to the end of A Deviant Beginning--BONUS CONTENT! As you know, writing is a whole beast of a process, and a lot of stuff that gets written never ends up making the final cut. One of the scenes I ended up cutting out was a spicy scene between Kathryn and Susan. After reading it, my editor said that it wasn't really necessary, so I should cut it for the sake of pacing, and I did. But instead of deleting it all together, I saved it as a little extra bonus scene for anyone who might be interested in a spicy snack after finishing the book. 😁

 

You can access it via a link at the end of the ebook and via a QR code at the end of the paperback. You have to enter your email address to get access, but don't worry, you won't be added to the newsletter list twice. The link will take you to a Bonus Content page where you'll access this extra scene. Over time, as books two and three are released, I'll be adding additional bonus scenes to this page. Question of the Week

Summer is coming to an end! Give me a quick summer recap. How did your summer go? Did you do anything fun? We took two family vacations--one to the Mall of America in Minneapolis and a cruise down to the Caribbean. They were both wonderful, and as a summer baby, I'm a little sad to see my favorite season making room for fall.
