I Built This Business With My Own Two Hands
As a single mom with two kids too young to stay home alone, building a real estate business looked a little different for me.
So, they came with me.
To open houses.
To showings.
On weekends.
Sometimes seven days a week.
And yes, they complained. A lot.
Nobody wants to spend their Saturday sitting in the back seat of a car outside another listing.
And then there was the mom guilt.
I wondered if I was doing the right thing. Was I working too much? Was I asking too much of them? Was all of this worth it?
Eventually, they understood.
I wasn't just chasing a dream. I was building something
that would hold us up.
And somewhere along the way, that became my definition of a
life by design.
It isn't about a fancy title or awards on the wall.
For me, it's about the two kids in the back seat who watched their mom figure it out, one showing, one client,
and one weekend at a time.
Today, I feel incredibly accomplished.
Not because it was easy.
Because it wasn't. And I built it anyway.
That experience shaped the way I serve my clients today. I know buying or selling a home isn't simply a transaction. It's often tied to your family, your finances, your future, and the
life you're trying to build.
That's why I believe in showing up, doing the work, and helping my clients make decisions that move them closer to the life they want.
Because a life by design isn't the one that just happens to you.
It's the one you build with your own two hands.
