Hello First name / folks,

It's September, so of course my brain has reawakened with the desire to get my shit together - in my house, in my business and in my bookshelves.

I always love the back-to-school energy that surges after the summer malaise, except that it's so often accompanied by a rising wave of existential panic.

The end of the year cometh - and the beginning of the year version of me (the insanely optimistic one) is shaking her head in despair and waving her delusional to-do list at me.

So far this month, I've ticked off a few things that would make her happy (including getting back into a regular rhythm with these emails) as well as adding a few new services to my website.

So, let's kick off with a quick look at my current screen & book obsessions:
  • Watching 📺 My Brilliant Career (Netflix) is brilliant and making me miss Australia and 📽 Practical Magic 2  - we've been waiting since the 90's for this sequel, the perfectly witchy start to autumn.
  • Reading 📚 Heartburn by Nora Ephron - the dialogue is 🙌 and the recipes are making me hungry.
  • Listening to  📚Burn of The Everflame by Penn Cole - final instalment to this epic romantasy series is getting me through school runs & housework.
