Assalamualaikum Al-Falah Academy Families!!

We are thrilled to kick off the school year this Saturday, September 12th, at Fischer Middle School, insha'Allah! We are looking forward to welcoming all of our students and families for an exciting year ahead.

🩺 Emergency Medical Information & Medications

Students with medical conditions that may require emergency treatment at school, such as food allergies, asthma, or seizure disorders, must bring their prescribed emergency medication and a physician-signed Emergency Action Plan (EAP) to school every Saturday.

Medications and the EAP should be kept in the student’s backpack so they are immediately available in an emergency.

🕘 Arrival & Check-In Times

Once you arrive in the parking lot, please check in at the table corresponding to the last name of the eldest student in your household. The check-in instructions below apply to families who have paid their tuition by 5pm on September 11th.

If you are paying after 5pm on September 11th, please use the GREEN check-in table.

🚨Important: Registration will be canceled if tuition is not paid or payment arrangements are not finalized by September 12th at 10 AM.

📖 Arabic Program

Check-In: 8:45 AM - Door 5 (ALL Arabic students)
Arabic Evaluations: Please note that after arrival, students will complete a 10-15 minute evaluation. This is required for all students enrolled in the optional Arabic program. No prior studying or preparation is needed. Please see the flyer below for additional information.

📚 Regular Classes

9:35 AM: Door 5 - Last Names A-G
9:45 AM: Door 5 - Last Names H-N
9:55 AM: Door 5 - Last Names O-Z

💙 Special Needs Program

Drop Off: 10:00 AM - Door 24
Families may drop off their SNP student first and then proceed to Door 5 to check-in siblings.

🚗 Dismissal & Parking Safety
Please adhere to the directions of our Security Team as they guide student dismissal and traffic flow.

Parents must enter the parking lot or the student pick up line to pick up their children. Please do not direct students to walk toward the road to meet you.
Remind your children to remain on the sidewalk directly outside Doors 2, 3, or 4 until you arrive.
Students should not walk onto the grassy hills, or into the parking lot to look for their parents.

🕐 Dismissal Times

PreK-1st Grade

1:10-1:20 PM | Door 6
A parent/guardian MUST come inside through Door 6 to pick up their child.

2nd -7th Grade & Youth Program

1:30 PM | Doors 2, 3, & 4
Parents should wait outside these doors for their children.
Parents are NOT permitted inside the building during prayer due to security requirements. Please communicate your child's exit door, meet-up spots, and pick-up plan with them before school.

Special Needs Program

1:15 PM | Cafeteria Doors

💳 Tuition Payments

Invoices can be found under your eldest student's account.

How to Pay Your Tuition:

Click on the green "Pay Invoice" button in your email. You will be directed to log in to Alma

Full Payment: Click the green "Make Payment" button
6 Month Payment Plan: Copy/paste the link in the memo portion of the invoice. If you require a payment plan with different terms, email finance@icnschool.com.

As a reminder, please see below regarding our payment policy:

Full tuition payment or setup of an autopay plan for the full tuition amount is due by September 11th, 2026.
If full tuition payment or setup of an autopay plan for the full tuition amount is not completed before September 12th, 2026, the student’s registration will be canceled, their spot may be released to another student, and the registration fee will be non-refundable. Please note: Students will not be permitted to attend classes until payment arrangements have been finalized.
If a family chooses to re-register after withdrawal, the student may be placed on a waitlist if the grade level is at capacity and may also be required to submit a second registration fee.

🎒 Getting Ready for the First Day

As we prepare for an exciting start to the school year, here are a few important reminders to help ensure a smooth beginning:

Mentally Prepare Your Students: Help your children understand the purpose, procedures, and timings of the school day to ease any last-minute jitters. Let younger students know that you will be there to drop them off and pick them up at the end of the day. Review the proper behavior and expectations for the classroom, bathroom, hallways, and cell phone use (should be put away and not used during school hours).
Food and Snacks: Please refrain from sending any snacks or food with your child, as we are a nut-free zone. The school will provide egg and nut-free pizza every Saturday. If you need to send a lunch with your child due to allergy concerns, please email principal@icnschool.com for approval.
Gather the school supplies: A school supply list can be found on our website: http://icnschool.org/supply-list/.
Remind your child about prayer expectations:

The school day ends after students complete Dhuhr salah.
Students should arrive at school with wudu and wearing prayer-appropriate clothing.
If needed, students may make wudu before coming down for lunch. There will not be enough time to make wudu after lunch.
ALL students should sit on the prayer mats during the pre-Salah talk and maintain respect throughout salah.
Cell phone use is not permitted while in the gym from 1:00 to 1:25 PM.
Appropriate accommodations will be made on an individual basis when needed.
