We'd like to extend a huge welcome to our newest team member at Coventry BID, Ken.
 
Ken has joined us this week as our Business Liaison Lead and his focus will be on supporting you - all of the wonderful businesses that make up Coventry BID.
 
You will see him out and about in Coventry city centre making face-to-face visits, helping with any issues you may encounter, and bringing everyone together as a community so we can all succeed. 
 
If you want to find out more about how the BID can support you, or any details on what exactly we are delivering… Ken will be your go-to guy!
 
So please join us in welcoming him to the team - and stop for a chat if you see him out in the city.

win christmas competition
To kick start Christmas in Coventry this year, alongside the launch of our panto trail in partnership with the Belgrade Theatre, we are giving one lucky family the chance to literally win Christmas.
 
That's why we're asking our BID businesses if they'd like to get involved and donate prizes. 
 
All businesses that have shared prizes would be highlighted across our competition - with plenty of social exposure on Coventry city centre's Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
 
We're hoping to have a prize worth a minimum of £1000. As it currently stands, we are donating £250 in cash directly from the BID, as well as 2026 panto tickets for a family of 4 worth a minimum £100.

work experience opportunity
This year, Blue Coat School in Coventry are returning to traditional work experience for their Year 10 students from Monday 23rd November - Thursday 26th November.
 
If you are able to support the students, then please get in touch as they'd love to work with you in providing this invaluable opportunity for the students, to help them build confidence, develop key workplace skills, and explore future career opportunities. 
 
Your support could make a real difference to a young person's future!

The televised heats of The BBC New Comedy Awards are coming to Coventry!

Be in the audience for the filming of three days of blockbuster showdowns at The Box, FarGo Village next Tuesday 22nd September, Wednesday 23rd September, and Thursday 24th September with Judges Amy Gledhill, Kiell Smith-Bynoe and Dan Tiernan plus three A-list Comic Hosts!

There are two shows per evening, with 10% off drinks for students.
